Clothing |
Generally, prefers darker and/or warmer tones. Dark green is especially good. Prefers bandannas, flannel shirts, jeans, and otherwise comfortable but well-fitting clothing -- "mountain" is the general aesthetic desired. Can wear other clothes in appropriate situations. |
Markings |
As noted elsewhere, it is preferred that the character looks "natural". Hard lines between colors are not necessary; blending between the colors wherever they meet is great! Particularly where it would suggest fur of different colors crossing over each other, or fur where the tips of the hairs are differently colored from the rest of the hair. The chest area is the biggest example of this -- the markings around the chest are a suggestion for colors there, and the exact shape that the colors form in the ref are not required. The darker colors making some form of chevron across the chest tends to look good, but discretion is left to the artist on how exactly to approach it. |
Headfur |
Does not have elaborate "haircuts", and headfur should not be differently colored to suggest human hair, but some variety is possible. A *short* mohawk (similar to this) is a good option. Alternatives to that include headfur being not noticeably different or just slightly longer and messier from any other fur. To be clear, though, headfur style is explicitly left to the discretion of the artist and suggestions here do not represent the only possible options that would look fitting to the character. |

Ears/Muzzle |
Ears are larger than wolf/standard canine ears, and muzzle is longer and skinnier than wolf/standard canine muzzle. |
Alternative form |
Werewolf-y proportions, with big teeth and hulking presence. Not macro, just tall/big (7'). In this form, more muscular/higher strength score, but less clever/lower int score. |
Personality |
Gruff, but quick to warm up to somebody if they can share a mutual respect. Increased chance of attempting to trick somebody if he or they don't respect each other. |
